Jamba Juice
is seeking qualified individuals for the positions of
General Managers (GMs) and
Assistant General Managers (AGMs)
at our company operations.

GMs tend to have past experience running restaurants or other QSR concepts while AGMs have past food service leadership experience but not as the overall manager of a restaurant.  Management experience in other, non-food concepts like clothing or hardlines retail can be relevant. 

The position you will be most qualified for will depend on your individual experience.

Below you will find the position overview, training and primary responsibilities for Managers in our stores. Most of this information applies to both positions, but overall responsibility for the business, team and environment in a store will always fall to the GM.

Position Overview:
As a Jamba Juice Manager you will be responsible for the overall operations of your store including people leadership & development, sales performance, customer service, community involvement and execution of brand excellence and, of course, making healthy smoothies.

Training:
The Jamba Juice Manager in Training (MIT) Program is a five week in store experience where you will be learning the basics of working at Jamba – frontline team member training, lead training and finally store management training. All through your training you will be guided by a seasoned GM to answer questions and give guidance as you prepare yourself to take over your very own store.

Primary Responsibilities:
After completion of the MIT Program, you'll be placed in your store.  Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Manage the business of the store – be accountable for the store-level Profit and Loss statement; drive store-level sales; manage the financials of staffing, cost of goods, etc.
  • Attract, recruit, interview and hire qualified Team Members
  • Train, coach, counsel and discipline Team Members
  • Create and sustain a highly productive store environment through training excellence and leadership of F.I.B.E.R. (fun, integrity, balance, empowerment, respect)
  • Utilizes financial tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance
  • Review business practices; determine customer needs, Team Member needs and performance opportunities and create a strategy to act on these opportunities to improve overall business performance
  • Conduct monthly Team Member one-on-one individual meetings and conduct quarterly store meetings
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the community through effective marketing and sponsorship

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Commensurate management experience with another company: GM will be 2-3 years management experience with a food/retail company; AGM will be 1-2 years shift supervisor/Assistant Manager experience with a food/retail company.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Embodies Jamba culture & values – will make a good representative to the Jamba Brand (i.e. energy, fun, self-starter)
  • Must be able to work Jamba’s 50 hour (five 10-hour days) work week
  • Benefits begin the first day of the month following your first 30 days with Jamba
