Marina is a growing Italian restaurant concept with a small, tight knit group of dedicated individuals that are passionate about food, beverage, and service. We are looking for an efficient, diligent and talented Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment and as a part of a team. The Chef de Cuisine will oversee the entire culinary operations of the restaurant while leading a talented and diverse culinary team. This position ensures consistent high-quality food preparations, maximizes kitchen productivity, and manages kitchen staff members through hiring, supervision, training and development. Italian food background is preferred.
The Sous Chef will execute the menu at the direction of the Chef de Cuisine with utmost quality, precision and consistency. You will develop maximum proficiency with the various stations as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine, which includes preparing and cleaning stations properly, stocking stations adequately for service, and communicating actively with the Chef de Cuisine and colleagues to facilitate smooth and efficient kitchen. You will work in a high-intensity kitchen while not sacrificing the quality and consistency of dishes. You must also be willing to assist teammates as needed.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a team player. We seek a highly organized individual with a solid understanding of profit and loss management and a desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Chef de Cuisine: 2-3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a well-rated restaurant
- Sous Chef: At least 1 or 2+ years of Sous Chef experience in a well-rated restaurant
- Energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior success in expediting a high-volume kitchen
- Previous experience training and mentoring a diverse kitchen staff
- Driven towards consistency and service excellence
- Italian food background is a plus
